Startling new MF research on UK divorce rate

New report shatters the common assumption that the divorce rate for all couples is higher than it was in the 1960s. If a married couple survive the first ten years of marriage, their risk of divorce is the same as it has been in the previous four decades.

The launch of the Marriage Foundation took place at Middle Temple Hall on Tuesday May 1, 2012.
 
    

There were speeches by Sir Paul Coleridge and Lord Sacks, the Chief Rabbi.  See this page for what was said during the course of the evening and this page for media coverage of the launch. 

   

Followed by a presentation by Rachel Gardner and young people from the Romance Academy.

   

A star performance of "Dino Love" by slam poet Harry Baker went down well.

  

Among other speakers was Baroness Butler-Sloss. Sir Paul also took the opportunity to introduce Harry Benson, the Marriage Foundation's newly-appointed Communications Director.
