First marriage rates are now at an all-time low for brides at 25.6 per 1,000 single women, and equal to the previous all-time low seen in 2009 for grooms at 21.7 per 1,000 unmarried men. Also the average age at first marriage continues to climb.

Celebrities twice as likely to divorce as the rest of the married UK population


A new report from The Marriage Foundation finds that after 10 years of marriage the divorce rate for celebrities is 40 per cent. For the rest of the country, the figure is just 20 per cent over the same amount of time. See the press release here.
